I am a retired mechanical engineer in my late 70s.
5ft 7", and only 10st 8lb in weight, no one believes my age!
I point this out because although I can enjoy the company of people of
my own age now and then, but being young at heart,
I have always prefered being in the company of younger people.
I,m still quite fit and active and been interested in martial arts for 45 years.
I recently learned a bit of dancing and love jiving.
But I live on my own, now my youngest son have left, and I hate it!
I live in a beautiful, historical North Lincolnshire country village
and have vintage tractors which I show at local events and ride about on.
My best blurb is that I am quite a romantic old so & so and
the only thing that makes me completely happy, is making someone else happy.
I have so much love and affection to give and no one to give it to.
Now to the selfish bit and the only selfish thing I ever remember doing!
I would like to meet a nice looking slim young lady with a driving licence,
to stay with me and keep me company until the good Lord calls for me.
Someone to share the rest of my life with for friendship,
company, and anything in between, ie. cuddles while watching tv etc.
A meal out and a drink now and then, days out etc. I have my own car.
I know we would have some great times, holidays, music nights and anything
else that looked fun. as I have a lovely daft sense of humour.

| Lady Seeking A Gentleman Friend | I am 58 years of age, live alone in a 4 bedroomed home and work from home which at the best of times is very isolating.

Not sure how I ended up on this site, but here I am. I am lonely and tend to isolate myself when I am going through struggles. I have been a successful court reporter for the past 25 years, which I have loved. Always made a phenomenal living and was a great provider for my family (I have a grown daughter who is 25 and lives on her own). I have raised her as a single mom since she took her first breath, as her dad died unexpectedly a month before she was born. So I took on the role of both mom AND dad, which was not an easy task at all, but I did what I had to do.
I'm looking for an e-mail companion, maybe more...who knows...who has the financial means to perhaps help me through some financial struggles at this time. We could hopefully become friends and chat, and I could, in turn, repay you for your kindness and generosity in some way. I've always been a fiercely independent person, always the sole financial provider for my family, have always made a phenomenal living, so finding myself writing this message on this site is so extremely hard. I've never had to rely on ANYone for ANYthing. I just don't do it. I hate the way it makes me feel...like I am a failure for not figuring out a solution on my own, which I've always been able to do.
