Army Cadets Worthing - posted by Mark
Hi,

I am trying to trace the beginings of the Army Cadets in Worthing, the earliest details i have been able to find are; 1st Cadet Battalion Church Lads Brigade (affiliated to The Kings Royal Rifle Corps). At this time they were based at 13 Evelyn Road Worthing. This was (to the best of my knowledge) in 1928.

I am reasonable confident that the Cadets were in Worthing prior to this date but so far i have drawn a blank.

Any suggestions as to where i can look next or any information that anyone is able to find would be massively appriceated.

Thanks in advance
Mark.

Worthing Reference Library has a lot of info. Try them.
Another source of information is Worthing Museum.
