did anybody go to the Carlton Ballroom in Slough round about 1969/70? I used to go with my friend Bernadette O'Hora every Saturday night I think they used to send a coach to take people back to the Britwell estate where we lived when the night was over but we nearly always missed it they were great days would love to hear from anyone who remembers them in particular Bernadette. As we lived in London we only saw them weekends but the Carlton was our favourate place. Happy Days.

Many happy memories of dancing there, and many other places in and around Slough /Maidenhead /Reading/ Holyport from 61-65 particularly.

By ptp1		I remember it well, and lived just outside Slough (and Britwell).
I also recall days, or should I say evenings and night at the Ricky Tick in Windsor.
With a name such as your friends, did she go to St Joseph's RC school in Slough?
