View Requests| GEORGE HUMPHREY, WHITE, TILLINGTON | I would be grateful for any help your readers can give me as I am researching my great great grandfather's family. My great great grandfather was George Humphrey (birth year unknown) and he married Eliza Lee in 1830 in Hardham. They had thirteen children: William born 1830, George 1831, Jesse 1832, Eliza 1834, Mary 1836, Ann 1838, Philip 1839, Jane 1841, George 1843, John 1844, Ellen 1845, Frank 1847 (my great grandfather) and Luke 1851. Frank born 1847 married Fanny Hampshire and they had four children- my grandfather Herbert 1882, Alfred 1872-1887 (buried in Coldwaltham), Arthur 1879 and Ellen 1874. I can find no trace of their whereabouts or what happened to them.
I am also looking for information on the White family of Harting and the Hampshire family of Tillington.
