MarshallEmma Mary Marshall 1871-1946 married Alfred Miles, born 1871, my grandfather. Both had large families in the Worthing area.
His father is unknown but he had 7 siblings by George Miles 1831-1868.( When widowed his mother Fanny Hammond married Oliver Woods) The eldest son George Miles born 1858 - married Oliver Woods' daughter Susannah - and they had Mary, Charlotte, Albert, Daisy, Susan and Alfred Miles. Is anybody out there connected to this family.
Emma Mary Marshall was the daughter of Charles Marshall born 1847 and Jane White.
Charles had a brother William born 1837 whose children were lifeboatmen. Has anyone any connnection to this famiy or this branch of the Miles family.
