Palmers from HillingdonHello,
**please note: Harry and other family members were in the Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry and served in India among other places. His wife Blanche was born there c 1880*
All of our Palmers originated from Hillingdon and settled in nearby areas of Middlesex. G grandparents were George and Elizabeth(Wright) Palmer. Children were Mary Jane(married a Hollidge), Harry (born 1869, my husband’s grandfather, married Blanche Long in India), Emily Maude (married Charles Culpin and was a widow by 1901), Francis James(married Emily Priest and had children Leonard and Elsie), Sarah Harriet(no info), Fred (married Emily Nellie Everrett), Michael Albert(was in a military camp at Bulford in 1901), Florence Fanny(no info), Stanley(was in Navy and left at Devonport in 1908), Kate Maria(was in St Peter’s orphanage in Kent in 1901) and lastly, Lilian May Elizabeth(was also in the ophanage with Kate, later married James Bannon and may have gone to California after birth of Stanley and Hilda). The only one of 11 siblings we know is course, Harry who left England for Canada around 1910.
