I am interested in hearing from anyone with LOCKING as a surname now; or with an ancestor with that surname (or given name) as I am compiling a One Name Study.
One large branch of the family originated in North East Lincolnshire.
Other branches seem to originate in East Yorkshire.
Members of all branches have spread out over the world, so they appear in Canada, the USA, Austalia, New Zealand, South Africa and all parts of the globe.
