I'm a freelance journalist who writes for the nationals, and am looking for people with memories of 1930s street parties.
I'm putting together a feature, to coincide with the Royal Wedding in April, that looks at street parties - the effect they have on communities, and their history.
Does anyone recall attending a street party in 1935 (George V's Jubilee) or 1937 (George VI's coronation)? Please get in touch soon if you do!
